A flattened house, inspired by Joesph Cornell’s boxes and Walker Evans photography, transforms into various locations.  Projected collages reinforce a tone of  claustrophobic nostalgia.

The production was awarded 1st place by the National Opera Association (2004).  Honorable mention for set design, David Weiss Design Competition, Region IV KC/ACTF (2004).
